(B) Service, Comfort, and Convenience Features
Optimal Control Direct Landing
1 The system uses sophisticated real time optimal control, distance versus feedback pulse to calculate
and generate analog speed curve, hence to achieve crawl less direct landing, giving better riding
comfort, increase running efficiency and minimizing passengers waiting time.
Full Load Bypass:
2 If the elevator were fully loaded, the system will bypass and on-hold all hall call registration while
only responds to car call registration.
Full Load Auto Call:
3 If the elevator were fully loaded during passenger boarding, the system will automatically re-register
the particular hall call to assign another car for serving the rest of passengers.
Nuisance Call Canceling:
4 If the number of the car calls registered does not correspond to the car load, the system judges it as a
nuisance attempt, all registered car calls are canceled. This prevents unnecessary trips and stops and
maintains efficiency of operation.
Car Arrival Chime:
5 While the car is arriving, an electronic chime bell will sound to inform the passengers inside the car
and outside the landing floor.
Final Car Call Canceling:
6 The system will automatically erase the opposite direction car call registration to prevent nuisance
attempts, maintaining efficient operation.
Car Call Canceling:
7 The passenger can single press the same car call buttons to cancel the wrong floor button registration,
this eliminates unnecessary trips and stops and maintains efficient operation.
Attendant Mode:
8 During Attendant mode, the attendant has the priority to determining the running direction, even if the
elevator has defined the running by itself automatically, by pressing the Attendant UP/DOWN buttons
inside the recess panel, the running direction can be changed.
The ‘Close’ button needs to be kept down until the limit switch of door closing is reached, otherwise,
the door will open again, if the button were released.
The attendant inside the car can be notified exactly which floor hall button(s) is/are being registered
by buzzer and blinking of car call button lamp(s).
Independent Mode :
9 The elevator operation mode can be switched to independent Mode by a switch installed inside COP
maintenance recess panel. The operation is same as Attendant Mode but it will not respond to hall call
registration.
VIP Mode:
10 The elevator operation mode can be switched to VIP Mode by a switch installed inside COP
maintenance recess panel. The elevator will not respond to hall registration and independent from
the duplex or ground controlling.
Hall Lantern:
11 While the car is arriving, corresponding directional lamp will flicker to inform the passengers outside
of the landing floor about the arrival of car and next serving direction of lift. The lamp will stay
ON when landed and turn OFF when door is closed.
Voice Synthesizer Announcement System:
12 A synthesized voice informs passengers inside the car about the arriving floor number, and follow by
next serving direction (Going Up - or Going Down) when door is fully opened to inform passengers
outside the landing.
Various types of languages are available such as English, Arabic and etc.
Handicap Usage Compliance:
13 Special call buttons are assigned for handicap usage in COP and hall fixtures to differentiate the
normal calls or handicap calls During handicapped calls, the door open holding time is extended to
allow extra time for the handicapped passenger entering or exiting the lift.
