(E) Security and Emergency Operation and Functions
 4- Way Intercom:
1 It allows passengers inside the car communicate with building personnel like machine room lobby, or control center
 5- Way Intercom:
 2 A 5-way intercom system is mainly used in supervisory room control center room to communicate among passengers inside the car and technicians in elevator machine room
Programmable Schedule Parking.:
 3 The elevator can be programmed to be operated or suspended (parks at parking floor) at certain specific time during the day via the controller console, it is for energy saving while traffic flow is low or security control purposes.
Emergency Cabin Lighting:
 4 In case of power failure, a rechargeable battery power will supply power to the cabin lighting providing minimum level of illumination inside car.
 Fire Emergency Homing:
 5 If fireman emergency homing is ON (by Building controller or detector), all the car call and hall call registration will be cancelled, the system will immediately drive all cars to fire emergency homing floor. When elevator has reached the fire emergency homing floor, the door will be opened automatically and kept idle till the fire emergency homing signal is OFF. Fireman Operation:
 6 Elevator can be programmed to be fireman lift or non-fireman switch ( normally located at fire emergency homing floor) is activated, all car and hall call registration will be cancelled and the system will immediately drive all cars to fire emergency homing floor. After reaching the fire emergency homing floor, non-fireman rescue, the car responds only to car calls, after landing all registered car calls will be cancelled, automatic opening door will be prohibited, and it can be opened only by pressing “Open” button. To reset the fireman operation, the fireman lift must be driven to fire emergency homing floor with fireman switch is turned OFF.
 Remote Parking Switch :
7 The system can Park the elevator at a specified floor by an activation of a key switch fixed at hall call button or supervisory room after completed responding to the car call registration. When the elevator has reached to the parking floor, the system will keep the door opens for 10 seconds and then shut off the cabin lighting and fan with door closed. The hall indicator will be turned off.

Automatic Rescue Device:
 8 In case of power failure, the Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) with a rechargeable battery power will check the car position, if the car is at door zone the ARD open the door to release passengers. If the car is out of door zone, the ARD will sense the car loading condition, when the car is loaded less than half of the capacity, the ARD will drive the elevator slowly to the upper floor.
 Building Generator Operation:
 9 In case of power failure, the building’s generator will supply power to preset elevator. All elevators in normal mode are automatically driven to a specified emergency floor in sequence. After all the normal mode elevators have arrived, only designated elevators can be operated.
Key Operated Stop Switch :
10 A key switch can be installed at a specified floor hall button or car operating panel to stop the elevator from using for maintenance or energy saving purposes.
Stand Alone Card Access: 
11 A COP can be equipped with a stand-alone proximity card reader to control the access to certain floor with single group of car call selection. Programming of the proximity card must be done inside the car.
